ROANOKE COUNTY, Va., —
Kids and parents alike were having fun at Tanglewood Mall today.
Tons of Fun is in its fourteenth year.
The free day-long event was sponsored by the Roanoke County Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism
Kids were able to get their faces painted, do crafts and play games.
Organizers say seeing kids and parents smiling and having a good time makes the event worth while.
"They have been inthrilled. You walk around the mall and all you see is smiling faces and that tells me everything I need to know," said Special Events and Tourism Director, Wendi Schultz,
Close to one hundred different vendors lended a helping hand for the Tons of Fun event.
