MONTGOMERY CO., Va—
A traffic alert for drivers on Interstate 81 in Montgomery County.
Overnight detours are scheduled to begin Sunday and end on Thursday.
Crews will continue to remove the Route 636 bridge.
The detour will begin at 9 p.m. each night and end the following morning at 6 a.m.
Southbound traffic will be detoured at Exit 132 onto Route 460 and back onto Interstate 81 at exit 118 in Christiansburg.
The detours are part of the ongoing road construction project to build a five-mile truck climbing lane between mile markers 120 and 125.
