Two men arrested in connection to August armed robbery at Salem 7-Eleven

Two men have been arrested for an August armed robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store in Salem.

Timothy Boyd, 44, and Sean Stump, 43, both of Salem, were arrested recently.

Police say a masked man walked into the 7-Eleven in the 1700 block of East Main Street in reference to an armed robbery. A store clerk told police that a masked man entered the store with a gun, and got off with money.

Boyd and Stump have been charged with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

They are being held in the Roanoke County/Salem Jail without bond.
