Police looking for female suspect, or suspects, in two Roanoke robberies

Two stores were robbed on Monday night in Roanoke, and police are investigating whether the incidents may be related.

The first robbery occurred at Replay Games located in the 2600 block of Peters Creek Road. An employee said that a woman entered the store, presented money and asked for change. When the employee opened the cash register, the woman indicated that she had a weapon. She then took money from the cash register and left the store. According to a news release, no one was hurt. Police are looking for the suspect.

The second robbery took place in the Stop In Food Store located in the 1900 block of Edgewood Street. When officers arrived, an employee said that a woman had entered the store, presented money and asked for change. When the clerk opened the cash register, she grabbed money and fled. No one was hurt, and no arrest was made.

No weapon was displayed in either incident.
