ROANOKE, Va.—
A follow-up now on a Roanoke church targeted by vandals. The congregation is moving forward. Earlier this week someone broke into the Bible Baptist Church on Garden City Boulevard in Roanoke and vandalized the worship hall. While most of the mess is gone, church members spent Saturday morning cleaning up what remained. Those responsible used a fire extinguisher, coffee grinds, syrup and other liquids to commit the crime. The church vans were also vandalized, but the most troubling was a disrespectful message about Jesus Christ. The pastor estimates the vandals caused $2,600 worth of damage.
UPDATE: Church members spend Saturday cleaning
They are moving forward and praying for the person or individuals responsible
