The election is over, so what will happen to all of the political signs?

Signs are not permitted on the public right of way any time of year, but Jason Bond with the Virginia Department of Transportation says VDOT can't get to all the signs.

Roanoke City and Roanoke County workers take down signs as time allows.

Private property owners can keep their signs up as long as they would like.
