New numbers show tax collections here in Virginia went down below what government leaders were forecasting.
In the first quarter of our fiscal year, they were hoping for a bit of growth.
Instead, revenue fell 0.7%. That's the third monthly drop in a row.

Could you be a little bit more specific on which 'tax' is down? i.e. Sales tax, business tax, property tax, car tax, state income tax, cell phone tax, un-employment tax, death tax, meals tax, building permit tax, fuel tax, etc. etc. etc. tax, tax, tax, tax, tax
Would you call the reason for the 'dip' in taxes..... an economic depression?
