PULASKI CO., Va.—
What goes up, must come down.
At least that's the case over the next two-weeks at Claytor Lake in Pulaski County.
Starting Wednesday, Appalachian Power is lowering the water levels so residents can do some work along the shore and protect the lake's mussel population.
The lake will drop three-feet over a number of days and then remain at that level until the 18th when it will slowly refill.
The lake is expect to return to normal by November 21st.
