FLOYD COUNTY, Va.—
A woman from Willis, Virginia is dead after a car wreck on Route 221, one half mile north of Route 722 in Floyd County.
It happened early Sunday morning around 12:30.
Virginia State Police says Lisa Reid was traveling southbound when her car ran off the left side of the road hitting a guard rail and then an embankment, before overturning.
Reid was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and she was partially ejected from the car.
She died at the scene.
