WIRTZ, Va. (AP) —
A Wirtz man faces illegal alcohol and weapons charges stemming from a June raid of his home by state alcohol agents.
An indictment handed up by a Franklin County jury charges 44-year-old Lester Ray Hodge with illegal manufacture of alcohol, possession of alcohol illegally acquired, and two weapons counts.
The grand jury also indicted Hodge's wife, Michelle Lynn Hodge, on a weapons charge.
Franklin County Commonwealth's Attorney Tim Allen tells The Roanoke Times that the couple's home was raided by agents from the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control on June 25.
