Have you ever heard of "Yarn Bombing"?
It's happening in Roanoke and its catching a lot of attention!
If you've passed by Studio Roanoke in downtown, you've probably noticed colorful flowers and vines made out of yarn.
The decorations were put up by Wyrd Sisters Yarn.
Organizer Cate Leonard compares yarn bombing to graffiti except it’s loud, beautiful and removable. "Yarn bombing is something that's been getting popular since about 2005. Its decorative and it’s fun with a sense of humor. We thought it would be a lot of fun to strew it all over the front of Studio Roanoke," said Leonard.
Leonard hopes to put up more displays in the future.
