Spring Grove, York County—
Spc. Cameron J. Stambaugh, age 20, was killed in action while serving his country in Afghanistan on July 8, 2012. Cameron was born in York on May 28, 1992. He graduated from Spring Grove Area High School class of 2010. He proudly served his country in the US Army, 978th Military Police Company of Fort Bliss and was stationed in Afghanistan. He was awarded the rank of Specialist post humus.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday from 5-8 pm at Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service PC, 175 N Main St., Spring Grove and on Saturday from 10 AM – 11:30 AM at Harvest Chapel, 6947 York Rd. Abbottstown, PA 17301 followed by his funeral service in celebration of his life at 11:30 AM with Rev. Don Wolabaugh officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Roth’s U.C.C. Cemetery, 6417 Church Rd., Spring Grove with full military honors provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
