CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - A one-time Chesterfield high school administrator has resigned after police arrested him during a prostitution sting.

Steven Floyd, former dean of students at Meadowbrook High School, was arrested during an undercover operation late last year and charged with Solicitation of Prostitution.

"This did not occur on school property but all of our employees and students are accountable for their actions both on and off school property," Chesterfield County Schools spokesman Shawn Smith said in a statement to CBS 6. "As soon as the police department notified the school division, the former employee was immediately removed from the school and placed on administrative leave.  The former employee has since resigned and is not employed by our school division."
