Library open house

Children eagerly look through the Friends of the Petoskey Library's selection of books to pick out their free book during the 2011 Candy Cane Village. The Candy Cane Village, which includes the Great Book Giveaway, takes place each year by the Friends during the downtown Petoskey open house. The Friends have several hundred new books ready to give away during this year's open house, 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7.
