BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -

Fuller is a rookie cornerback for the Chicago Bears.

At practice Monday, Fuller accidentally knocked down tight end Martellus Bennett while trying to strip the ball. Bennett got up and slammed Fuller to the ground. Click here to see video of the play and scuffle.

The ensuing scuffle got so heated that Bears coach Marc Trestman cut practice short.

According to ESPN, Bennett has been fined and suspended for an unspecified time because of the incident.

Fuller downplayed the incident after practice. He was picked by the Bears in the first round of the NFL Draft this year.
