The Virginia men's basketball team is deep and the Cavaliers have high expectations this season.

They get point guard Malcolm Brogdon back from a foot injury that sidelined him last season, add South Carolina transfer Anthony Gill to the mix and the Cavaliers have their top five scorers back from a year ago. Joe Harris and Akil Mitchell are seniors, and the other three top returnees are just sophomores.

Coach Tony Bennett says Gill will bring a low-post presence at both ends, and an uncanny knack for getting offensive rebounds and drawing fouls.
Harris led the team in scoring last year at 16.3 points per game, but faded late in the year. He says more options should help prevent that this year.
