One week after his 20th birthday, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series rookie, Darrell Wallace Jr paid a visit to Martinsville High School Tuesday morning.

With race weekend less than two weeks away, the contender for Rookie of the Year toured the newly renovated high school that now includes a TV studio, robotics lab and nursing section.

This fall race will be Wallace’s second start at Martinsville. He finished fifth back in the spring. Wallace has finished in the top 10, ten times this year along with winning one pole on the truck series.
