Coach Tony Bennett says balance is key to U.Va.'s improved offense.
“When a team really grasps that — everybody talks about and gives it lip service — that’s when I think you become more efficient and more effective. This team, if you just look at us, we’ve shown that anybody can beat us [see Old Dominion and Georgia Tech]. But when we play well, we have a chance to be competitive and hopefully beat most teams [see Wisconsin, North Carolina and North Carolina State]. I hope that keeps our guys in a humble spot.”
Here are the efficiency ratings for Bennett’s teams, the first three at Washington State, the last four at Virginia.
