ACC weekly awards rolled in for a pair of Wahoos Monday. Steve Greer was named linebacker of the week after a 15-tackle, 2 sack performance against Penn State. And Oday Aboushi was named offensive lineman of the week.

Both players will play key roles as UVa goes on the road for the first time this weekend.
Virginia was 4-1 on the road last year and will take its first trip of 2012 this Saturday when they travel to Georgia Tech in their ACC opener. The point of emphasis this week is on a rushing attack that struggled in the first two games, averaging just 3.2 yards per carry. But in last year's upset of the Yellow Jackets they actually outgained Georgia Tech on the ground, and Perry Jones rushed for a career-high 149 yards."

Mike London said, "There is a renewed emphasis on being able to use what we thought was a strength, what we think is a strength of our team, by being able to run the ball more. And hopefully hang onto the ball and provide those opportunities to have extended plays instead of just one, two or three plays and out."

The game begins at 3:30 in Atlanta.
