ATLANTA, Ga.—
Former UVA head coach Al Groh was fired Monday as the defensive coordinator at Georgia Tech.
Groh's defense was giving up more than 400 yards a game this season, his third in Atlanta.
And Saturday's game against Clemson was the third in a row in which the unit had given up at least 40 points.
The 68-year-old Groh says he isn't sure of his next move.
