Mike London is not the only coach on the Virginia staff who will be making his debut on the sidelines this season in Charlottesville.
Tight Ends Coach Scott Wachenheim will also be making his debut in September.
Wachenheim was in Salem Monday night to speak with the Roanoke Valley Hall of Fame.
While it will be his first year at the University of Virginia, Wachenheim is no rookie having spent almost thirty years on the sidelines including a couple at Liberty University and last season with the Washington Redskins.
"I think so because Bill Lasor and I speak the same language on offense. I instantly understand what he is looking for. I think all college players have some goal in the front of their mind or the back of their mind on being an NFL player. I was just visiting with Rocky McIntosh about what he thinks will make him that type of player and what he needs to do to get to that level," said Wachenheim.
