The University of Virginia is off to a good start this season. One reason for the team's success is the play of Senior Keith Payne.
Number 22 has five touchdowns through the first two games. That matches last year's tailback season high by Mikell Simpson. It is clear the power game is strong for Virginia and so is getting the ball into the endzone. Right now the Redzone is quickly becoming the "Payne Zone."
"When we are in the redzone. We figure we are going to try and score with the running game, I think we have done well with the packages that we use," said Keith Payne.
"The running back situation is turned into something that has been very productive for us. This is only the second game. So we have to be more consistent with. Because then they will put eight in the box. Then you can play action pass and throw it to your wideouts," said Mike London.
