Virginia is set to host VMI Saturday in a 1:30 kickoff at Scott Stadium.
The Cavs will try to improve to 2 and 1 on the season against the Keydets and there are several ties between the two programs.
UVA Coach Mike London competed against VMI during his time at Richmond, and the Cavaliers’ defensive coordinator, Jim Reid is a former head coach of the Keydets.
VMI’s current head coach, Sparky Woods, was once the offensive coordinator for George Welsh in Charlottesville.
