College football's national signing day is fast approaching and this past weekend was a big one for Virginia Tech committment Trey Edmunds from Dan River. Edmunds, a tailback and linebacker with the Wildcats, has been named a Parade All American.
He rushed for nearly 26 hundred yards and 33 touchdowns last season, but will likely play linebacker at Tech.
He joins former Hokies Darren Evans, Tyrod Taylor, and Macho Harris as Parade All Americans and he is one of three Virginia players to make this year's team. Trey's father Ferrell, the Dan River head coach, played tight end at Maryland, followed by a lengthy NFL career with the Dolphins and Seahawks.
