It's pretty well known that Hokies tailback David Wilson is a speedster in track and in a football uniform.
He's been outrunning rabbits on the drill field and defenders on the football field since he arrived on campus more than three years ago.
There's no doubt he's got a fast set of wheels, but it's his on-the-road wheels that garner plenty of attention.
Wilson’s car is a 1978 Ford Thunderbird, jubilee edition. It was a very popular car back when it first came out.
“My parents helped me out and helped me fix it up,” Wilson said. “I've been enjoying it. Just driving it around you get all the looks and you have people staring at your car and pointing at it. It's pretty cool.”
His car certainly does fit his personality. David was a star on Friday Football Extra just a few short years ago at George Washington High School in Danville.
