Blacksburg, Virginia—
Virginia Tech lost just their second game of the season, falling to Georgia Southern 78-73. It was their first loss of the season at Cassell Coliseum.
Senior guard, Erick Green tied his career high with 28 points and Jarell Eddie added 21, but it wasn’t enough against a hot-shooting Eagles team that hit 11 three-pointers in the game.
With the loss, Tech falls to 8-2. Their next game is Saturday, December 22 in Las Vegas against Bradley.
