North Cross hosted Virginia Episcopal Friday night.
Antoine Martin carried every play on the opening 60 yard drive for the Raiders, and he cashes in with a four yard touchdown to put North Cross up 7 to nothing early.
The Bishops would then cough up the turnover on the fumble by Cohen Howard. The Raiders recover. Micah Lacy knocks back the field goal extending the lead to 10-zip Raiders.
But Alexander, the little brother stepping up. He hits Jeff Rowell for a 35 yard first down on third and long to put VES in business.
Two plays later, he tosses to the corner of the endzone for David Birkoff on the touchdown, and it was 10-6, but North Cross won it Friday night 16 to 10.
