The Bees hosted Jefferson Forest Friday night.
It was senior night just outside the city limits of Lynchburg. Some former standouts at Brookville, current Virginia Tech Hokies Quarterback Logan Thomas and Virginia Tech Defensive Lineman Zack McRae on hand for some support.
Kendall Becraft, the current Brookville quarterback, he had a good game. In large part thanks to Holton Walker.
The duo connect, Walker doing most of the work, cutting across the field. He makes it 74 yards before being taken down. Very next play, Becraft's pass is tapped into the air. Big Michael Yost, all of 6'4, 310 pounds of him makes the interception.
Brookville gets its revenge on defense. Deshon Foxx picks off Marcus Jones and no one is taking him down, 47 yards for the game's first score.
It would not be the last. Second quarter, Becraft and Walker connect again. This time they get all the way to paydirt, 47 yards on the pitch and catch. It's Brookville all over Jefferson Forest 48-35.
