At Roanoke County's Bogle Stadium Hidden Valley and Bassett locked horns Friday night.  The Titans came in rested and ready following an off week, while Bassett was looking to finish a game strong, after dropping tight ones to Jefferson Forest and Christiansburg in the fourth quarter.

Homecoming for the Titans and their royal court. Hidden Valley was up 7-0 at halftime.

And the Titans got right back to it on the first drive of the 3rd quarter. Walker Brand scored from three yards out, that was his second of the night and he was far from done.

After Jake Kite forced a fumble, the Titans gave it right back to Brand. Only 5-foot-7, he weaved through traffic for a 19-yard score to make it 21-0.

Bassett finally put something together, converting a 3rd-and-20. Then another big gainer as Deshaun Valentine hit Chris Martin on the quick slant, bringing it down to the one yard line. Valentine did the rest, scoring on the next play to make it 21-6.

But the Bengals had no answer for Brand. On the toss this time, an 11-yard score. That was his 3rd touchdown in the 3rd quarter, he had four in the game as Hidden Valley routed Bassett by a final of 35 to 6.
