It's time now to take a trip to Covington where the Cougars locked up with Bath County at Boodie Albert Stadium.  Covington won a tight one during the regular season, taking on a second straight Pioneer District foe in the playoffs.

Covington on the march early in this one as quarterback Troy Helton called his own number and turned the corner for good yardage and a first down before being knocked out of bounds.

That drive stalled out, but Bath had all kinds of trouble.

A bad snap went over the head of Raymond Miller.  That went for a sack and a huge loss for Bath.

Helton got back at it hitting Brandon Phillips over the middle, and he took several Chargers with him for another nice gain by the Cougars.

They cashed it in a few plays later.

Helton the flip to Luke Moye for the short touchdown and Covington ended Bath's season knocking out the Chargers, 29-9.
