In Lynchburg at City Stadium, the Brookville Bees tried to keep rolling tonight behind quarterback Kendall Becraft who had thrown for nearly 1,200 yards in the first five games of the season. Tonight, EC Glass the latest team to take a shot at slowing him down.
The Hilltopper mascot showing off his best dance moves in this one. But it was all about Brookville tonight. We get things started in the second half. The Bees' Michael Carwile takes the handoff and he's got running room all the way out to the Glass 42 yard line.
Two plays later, it's Carwile again with some big-play ability. He takes it in from 40 yards out to paydirt making it 41-nothing Brookville.
Carwile isn't done yet though. On Glass's first possesion of the second half, Sam Craighill drops back to pass but he is picked off by -- guess who -- that guy Carwile. He sniffs the endzone for another Bees score.
The Hilltoppers try to get their offense going. Here it's Craighill hitting Antonio Gentry to bring the ball to the Glass 36 yard line. Two plays later, Craighill again looking long he gets the completion to Josh Sessoms who takes it in on the touchdown. But it wouldn't be nearly enough. Brookville goes on to the 48 - 13 win.
