Bogle Stadium's other occupant, Cave Spring was on the road for the second straight weekend.  Tim Fulton's Knights were at Dan Greene Stadium in Martinsville where the home-standing Bulldogs awaited.

With the Knights making the trip, the students were extra fired up for this one.  Minutes into the first quarter, Martinsville gets the chains moving.

Bulldogs' Ishmel Hairston gets the ball and slices through the line. He scampers 30 yards for the touchdown.  Martinsville kicks off to the Knights' John Evans. He has one thing on his mind, he takes this one all the way back to tie things up.

It's now Martinsville's ball. Ishmel Hairston tosses to Damian Patterson, but Patterson coughs it up and the Knights pounce on it.  And Cave Spring capitalizes. Reece Kingery takes the snap and rumbles in for the touchdown.

On the extra point, Martinsville's Damian Patterson blocks the kick.  Still, Cave Spring led 20 to 7 at the end of the first quarter, and the Knights roll to the 50 to 29 win.
