TAZEWELL CO., Va.—
Cave Spring and Richlands had hooked up in the Region IV, Division 3 finals in each of the past three seasons. On Friday night they met one round earlier in Richlands.
The Knights got the offense in gear on their first drive, as James Jackson busted it up the gut for a first down.
But after that run, the Blue Tornado defense hunkered down. The sack stalled the Knights’ drive right here.
In the second quarter, Cave with the ball and it's Jackson again, busting a few moves and turning on the jets for the 50-yard touchdown and the Knights were in a groove.
The Knights put together another drive that led to a field goal. Cave Spring knocks out Richlands 31-6.
