He was a legend on the gridiron and courageous on the battlefield. A special song has been written in memory of former Rockbridge County High football player Chase Prasnicki. He was killed in while serving in Afghanistan in June. His long-time friend, Korey Ogden, wrote a song about him to express his gratitude for a frendship he’ll cherish forever.
"The main line in my song is 'a friend to many and a stranger to none'. Hhe was so well-known in some regard by everyone. I mean, everybody knew about Chase he was so well liked and respected in this community," said Ogden.
Today Ogden performed at Buena Vista Baptist Church. He sang “Chase’s Song” at the beginning of church service.
