Christiansburg was on the road for the second straight week in district play, paying a visit to Bogle Stadium in Roanoke County to face Hidden Valley in what figured to be another hard fought, down to the wire contest.
In the second with the Titans up 7-0, Walker Brand got the handoff and he took off 32 yards, he was taken down just shy of the goal line. On the next play, he would finish the job from two yards out, that gave Hidden Valley a 14-0 lead just before the break.
The Titans use all three of their timeouts and forced a Blue Deamon punt and Hidden Valley's Jake Kite hauled it in and he was off to the races, this is a 58 yard punt return touchdown to make it 21-0 at the half, a definite back breaker for Christiansburg.
In the middle of the 3rd, Brand continued the scoring effort for the Titans, he got the pitch and took it in from 4 yards out to make it 28-0 Hidden Valley and the route was on. The Blue Demons would work in down toward the goal line but Joey Augustin got picked off in the end zone by the Titans Billy Howe.
Tough night for Christiansburg, it was all Hidden Valley in the 28 to nothing shutout win.
