EC Glass and Heritage will play twice this season. Friday night's match up was the non-district one. They'll play in the annual Jug Bowl later this season. Friday's winner though would have Hill City bragging rights until then.
Heritage wasted no time in moving the ball. On the second play of the game, from their own 25, Jevontae Parrish passes to KeShawn Wade who's turning it into a 40 yard pickup for the Pioneers. But the drive stalled and Glass took over.
Heritage gave it right back on their next possession. Wade can't handle the handoff, and the Hilltoppers recover at the 30. Three plays later, E.C. Glass gets on the board when Jordan Anderson throws to Antonio Gentry for the Touchdown, and it's 7-0 E.C. Glass.
Heritage trying to get things going on the next drive. Quan Ingram runs around the right side, but loses the ball. It's recovered by E.C. Glass at the 50. But Heritage scored 21 unanswered points to beat Glass 21 to 7.
