Liberty hosted Amherst Friday night.  And the winner would have a leg up early in the Seminole race.  The Lancers came in, having won the last five in the series, outscoring the Minutemen 240 to 47 over that span.

The Minutemen came out of the locker room with a 13 to nothing lead on the Lancers.

Cody Outhong calls his own number and moves forward to the two yard line as the Minutemen tried to add to the lead in the second half.

On the next play, Anthony Reynolds crashes in, falling into the endzone to make it 20 to nothing early in the 4th quarter.

The Lancers in hurry up mode.   Darius Wilson throws to Devante Brown, but the defense meets him there and lays the wood.  After a mad scramble for the loose ball, Liberty recovers at the 20 yard line.

Reynolds would find the endzone again.  This time he goes to the corner and gets in for a 27 to nothing advantage.  Liberty whipped Amherst Friday night 27 to 0.
