Christiansburg faced its first double A opponent Friday night, and the Blue Demons wing T attack hoped to keep rolling against Carroll County.
On the opening drive of the game, the Blue Demons Brendan Motley read the eyes of Blake Bowman. Motley came up with the interception and turned in the nice little return to put the Christiansburg offense in business.
Motley handed off to Greg Lee who knifed thru the Carroll County defense on the short TD run and Christiansburg led 6-nothing in the first quarter.
Just a few minutes later, Motley did it again. He went on a 29 yard scoring scamper. After reaching the endzone, he had much love for the Friday Football Extra cameras.
But the Blue Demons weren't done yet. Motley handed to Lee again, and he bounced to the outside and found the corner of the endzone from 12 yards out for another six points.
Christiansburg won it 40 to 0.
