InLow Moor tonight there was a sharp contrast in the pass happy Alleghany attack and the ground game of the Staunton River Golden Eagles.

The Mountaineer faithful bringing it tonight for their team.

But the visitors quieted them down at the outset. Meech Coles was doing his thing showing off some quickness and darting to the endzone on the score. Staunton River struck first up 7-nothing.

A holding call would take an Alleghany score off the board, and the Eagles took advantage.  Staunton River's Jared Nichols picks off Seth Bradley in the endzone on the smooth interception.

Following and Eagles punt, Bradley tries to get fancy, throwing as he's being sacked...The Eagles Chris Eggleston is there for another interception.  He's headed the other way, on a 44 yard pick 6. Staunton River on top 14-nothing a that point.

Deandre Burks trying to get something cooking on the ensuing kickoff.  He's finds a seam straight up the middle of the field.  Burks is going 65 yards thru the coverage team. 

He gets to the 20 yard line to setup Bradley and the offense.

Mountaineer QB Seth Bradley finds Lucas Kirby on the TD.  It was 14-7, but Staunton River won it 48 to 28 improving to 6 and 2 on the year.
