Franklin County hosted Halifax County at Cy Dillon Stadium in Rocky Mount. The Eagles looking to remain undefeated in district play.
Franklin County moved the ball on the ground early as David McGee takes a pitch and comes right into your living room for a nifty little 18 yard gain.
Three plays later, McGee finished the drive on the touchdown run to put the Eagles up 6-nothing midway through the opening quarter.
Following a Halifax fumble, the Eagles find the zone again. This time it's Chance Tyree just one minute and 19 seconds later. That score made it 13-nothing Franklin County.
But Halifax fights back with an end around. Coby Markam picking up a big run into Eagles territory. The Comets then cap off a 9 play drive with Trey Roberts 11 yard touchdown scamper.
Franklin County though too tough. The Eagles win 49 to 29.
