Heritage and Liberty hooked up in Bedford on Friday night trying to solidify their place in the Seminole's pecking order. The Pioneers ended a three-game losing streak to the Minutemen last season.

The last time they met as unbeatens was back in 2003.

Liberty has only been giving-up an average of 9 points per game, but they met their match this week against Heritage.

The Pioneers led 14-nothing, until the opening drive of the third. Chase Key got in for the Liberty touchdown to cut the deficit in half. But Heritage canceled that out soon after. From midfield, JeVontae Parrish hit Austin Fitzgerald in stride and he raced all the way to the enzone, making it 21-7.

At the end of the third quarter, the Minutemen made it a one-score game again. Devin Carper got the hand-off, snuck through the line and scored the 37 yard TD.

It was 21-14 heading into the 4th quarter. But Heritage pulled away from there. Uriah Hammond got the pitch and got in for the 12-yard touchdown. The momentum continued and Heritage went on to win 35-14 over Liberty.
