Both Taylor and Blue Demons QB Brendan Motley anxious to lead their team into the semifinal round.
Daqu'an Green-Gause was the first to get the Blue Demons party started with a nifty carry, gaining 19 yards to the Warriors 6 yard line.
Four plays later, Motley avoids the tackle and fights his way into the endzone and Christiansburg was on the board first, 6-0.
Following a Magna Vista 3 and out, Motley rolls left, and hooks up with Kam Johnson for a pickup of 22 yards for the Blue Demons.
Motley does what he does best just a few minutes later, sneaking in for another score to make it 12-0 at the end of the first quarter.
Magna Vista tried to go to the air on its next possession.  Taylor to DeShaun Penn.  That's good for 32 yards out to midfield.
But the drive stalled out and the Demons took advantage.  From the 20, Zach Snell and he checks out.  Snell smokes the Warriors defense, slicing and dicing with those fleet feet.  They finally drag him down just short of the goal line, but it didn't matter.  Snell scored on the next play and it was 18 to nothing.
Taylor then capped off a 5 minute Warriors drive with a quarterback sneak of his own with a buck 20 left in the half and Magna Vista had some momentum headed to the break.
Taylor did his best to keep his team in this one.  Here he breaks a tackle and spins for a good pickup of 20 yards to start the third quarter.
Seven plays later, Taylor scoots in on the touchdown cutting his team's deficit to 13 points.
But Christiansburg put up another score before Taylor has some troubles.  He couldn't get it going and gets sacked by Zane Christian for a huge 15 yard loss on fourth down.
On the very next play, Motley calls his own number and puts this thing away rambling 41 yards untouched for his 4th touchdown of the game.  Christiansburg cruises back into the state semis with a 46 to 12 win.
