The highlights continue now in Moneta where Staunton River's Jarett Moon is one of the area's leading rushers, averaging right at 200 yards per game.  Moon and the Golden Eagles had a date with Tunstall at home.

An exciting homecoming night as Holly Sheets earned the honor of homecoming queen, and the game didn't lack for thrilling moments either.

Midway thru the third, Tunstall down 14-10, and the Trojans had great field position after a Staunton River muffed punt. QB Evan Huffman on 2nd and 6 goes airborne on the play action fake and finds Jake Whittaker who makes a tremendous juggling catch for 35 yards, just short of the goal line.

Two plays later, Huffman takes it in himself for the score to give the Trojans the lead at 17-14.  But Staunton River had the answer -- on third down from the Tunstall 30, it's the man and the Moon.  He takes the handoff and uses his lightning speed to turn the corner before he is tackled just short of the end zone to get the crowd pumped up.

Very next play, DeShawn Martin sticks the ball across the plane for the score and the Golden Eagles re-capture the lead at 21-17.  That capped a 10 play 45 yard drive.  The Eagles knocked off Tunstall by ten 27-17.
