Lord Botetourt tangled with William Byrd. The Terries were fresh off their first win of the season last week.
The cheerleaders hoped to pick up the Cavs who were down by nine at the break. Terrier QB Zac Hill fumbles the exchange on the run play and Botetourt would recover on its 21.
But Byrd fired back -- Darryl Preston carries the defenders ten yards into the end zone to increase the lead to 18-3 in the 3rd.
Down big, the Cavs came out firing, as Will Cline connects with Devan Snodgrass for a 21 yard gain and a first down.
After a failed fourth down play, Byrd kept the ball on the ground again with Preston, chugging down the far side for a 57 yard touchdown. Two in a row for Big Orange, as the Terriers win their district opener 32 to 3 over Lord Botetourt.
