The Greenbrier Resort is making last minute preparations for golfers and spectators.
This week marks the beginning of the Greenbrier Classic golf tournament.
Practice rounds start Monday the 25th. The first round of competition starts Thursday.
Last year, marked the inaugural year for the event.
One of the complaints coming out of White Sulphur Springs was the lack of parking, so this year a Blacksburg group has worked with the resort to help resolve the problem.
"We've addressed two issues," explains Mike Williams of Twenty/20 Productions. "One- transportation. If you want a room at the Greenbrier, good luck. There just aren't that many rooms up there. We bridged that gap by chartering luxury motor coaches to go up and back daily."
The response has been so great for tickets to the Black Eyed Peas and Keith Urban concerts, the company had to add buses for both Friday and Saturday.
"We hear there are no concerts in this area," says Steve Orndorff of Twenty/20 Productions explaining the significance of the event, "And for us to offer transportation up and back. We're pretty excited."
