The Greenbrier Classic's first round will tee off on July 28th on the Old White course.  This will be the second year that PGA tour has visited White Sulphur Springs, WV.  Greenbrier owner Jim Justice was very pleased with the results of the first tournament and already has his sights set on something bigger than just a regular tour stop.

"Presidents Cup, you know I want to get the Presidents Cup here and in order to be able to have the Presidents Cup here.  This is got to turn into the second Augusta, that is what I want it to be, I want it to be the second Augusta." he said.

Getting the Greenbrier to the level of Augusta National where the Masters is held each spring is a tall task, but many people thought the PGA tour would never come to West Virginia.

This year the Pros will be greeted by a course that has been lengthened as well as having all the greens redone.  The defending champion is Stuart Appleby, who shot a final round 59 a year ago to win the title.  He doesn't see a barrage of birdies coming like there were in the inaugural Greenbrier Classic.
