WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (AP) -- The Greenbrier's new owner says he has bought a Georgia firm's stake in the historic resort's gated housing development for $14 million.
Jim Justice says Savannah, Ga.-based Dolan, Pollak & Schram Development Co. was a good partner in the Greenbrier Sporting Club. But Justice says he wanted complete control of the resort he acquired for $20.1 million in May.
Justice said Thursday that he's bringing back a top salesman to the Greenbrier Sporting Club and naming Sporting Club architectural board president Peter McKinley to head up the proposed casino addition at The Greenbrier.
