Hidden Valley won its first ever state title in volleyball, defeating Warhill in the 3A Championship game 3-2. The Titans won the first  game 25-18 then the Lions won the second 25-23. Game 3 went to Hidden Valley in an extra-point thriller, 31-29, but then once again Warhill tied it up, taking game 4 25-23. The Titans won the 5th and final game 15-9.

In Group 1A, Auburn High School defended its state title, making quick work of Altavista 3-0. The Eagles won 25-17, 25-18 and 25-15. They finish the season at 29 and 2.
