In New Castle this week Craig County played Auburn.  Jack Turner's Eagles knocked off Narrows last Friday ending a 39 game losing skid.  Going after two in a row tonight against the Rockets.

The Rockets head coach Mark McPherson was opening up the home slate in front of the home folks in New Castle tonight.

Auburn got on the board in the first quarter as Max Tomlin knocks\ed back the 40 yard field goal.  That big boot made it 3-nothing Eagles.

The Rockets went three and out before Auburn tailback Nick Parsell punched in a score from five yards out and it was a 10 point cushion for Auburn halfway through the second quarter.

The Eagles 'd' made some plays as well.  Tyler Irby dragged down Craig quarterback Cody Dunbar in the backfield for an 11 yard loss on the sack. Craig County finished the play off with the 12 yard scamper to the endzone.

Auburn led it 17-nothing and improves to 2 and 0 with the 31 to 0 win.
