ROANOKE CO., Va. -

Hidden Valley cracked the win column last week at Bassett, and the Titans were looking for two in a row tonight against a Christiansburg team that knocked them out of the playoffs a season ago.

Hidden Valley faced a 10 point halftime deficit, trying to dig out of it.

Down 17-7 the Titans were trying to tighten the score. QB Jake Smiley connectws with Billy Howe, but Howe couldn't hold on and loset the ball.  Stuart Burks recovered for Christiansburg.

The Demons couldn't capitalize and had to punt it away. The Titans got in position for a field goal but Christiansburg's Mack Muldoon did his best superman laying out to block the 27yd attempt leaving the Titans empty handed.

The Blue Demons tried to put this thing on ice.  Charlie Jackson handed off to Logan Adkins who plowed through defenders to the 1yd line. Jackson finished the drive, sneaking in for the Christiansburg touchdown.  It was 24 to 7.

Hidden Valley was going to the bag of tricks late. Smiley and crew had a double reverse and the pass to a wide open Dean Sayers for a 65 yd TD to bring the Titans back within 10.  But Christiansburg took out Hidden Valley 27 to 14.
